Best Player in Call of Duty Black Ops 3

It's not as bad as I thought!
Well my 12 year old son came up to me a couple of weeks ago and said, " could I please have the new Call Of Duty Black Ops 3" and he told me the rating and all of that. I automatically said no once he told me it was R18+ but he asked if I could please look it up just to see what it was like.
So I looked it up on the Internet and also watched a couple of YouTube videos about the game. I found out that the game was very futuristic and wasn't as violent as I thought. But I found out that the campaign and zombies was very bloody and gory and had a lot of very bad scenes in the game.
I told my kid that he could have the game but only if he plays multiplayer. The multiplayer on the game is hugely toned down in blood and gore, I watched him play the multiplayer once he got the game and I didn't see any blood or gore.
But if you parents are a bit nervous letting your kids play this game you also have the option of turning of blood and gore.

It was not as bad as I thought
I am strict when it comes to media and when my kid asked me to get Call of Duty Black Ops 3 I instantly replied no. The last thing I wanted was for my kid to be exposed to all the violence in that game. My worry was that my kid would be badly influenced by the game and end up resorting to violence, but I was wrong! I did some research and turns out the game take out all the blood, gore, and language if you want it to. I was still mad at the fact this video game's premise was to kill humans, but once again I was wrong. The whole point behind this game is to kill cyborgs, humans implanted with robotic chips. The whole point of the game was to protect humanity from these cyborgs and I started opening up to the game. After purchasing the game I watched my son play. He was communicating with his friends and creating strategies for defense, he would come up with amazing theories behind the science of the game, he used the game as an inspiration to do even better in school, and best of all following a game's instructions and listening to the characters in the game helped my son pay attention better and listen really well. My son is now at his prime and uses his playtime of this game as an inspiration to do well. He knows the only way to have the blast he does while playing this game is to keep up his grades. Because he knows this he studied extremely hard and had an improved work ethic. He ended high school with a 4.0 GPA and got into Berkley University. This game still serves as one of his biggest inspirations to do well. I find this funny, but a lot of other mothers I had talked with say this game is a big inspiration for their children too. I hope this game can have more positive outcomes like my son and his peers.

Ok yes there is a graphic content filter if your son or daughter is at least 12 and is mature enough then don't make them turn the filter on. Also the violence is PG-13 level, and the language is about as bad as a kid would here in middle school because I mean seriously what kid doesn't know "all the words in the book." On a different note I would like to address this, if your son or daughter is at least 12 and understands most mature concepts I suggest letting them play rated M games. I believe that video games do not make kids violent, as a kid I played DOOM and I turned out fine. Finally I would like to say most parents on this website overreact on the "oh this game is so violent and has such mature language", it doesn't so don't listen to those reviews. Fun to play!!
I think that this game should be allowed to be played by kids around ten because it has some blood and gore but not much. Also there is some swearing, but that shouldn't matter that much.

Perfectly Fine For Both Genders!
My 11 year old daughter came up to me asking: "Can I please have Call of Duty?" I looked it up, and saw the M rating. My natural answer was NO. She kept pleading and pleading but I saw these reviews and let her get the game, as long as she turned blood and gore off. She seemed to act very mature about it and only played it after homework. You shouldn't worry about not being able to pause, because you can pause the game, and the matches are very short. Besides, you are in the army trying to protect your country, so I don't understand why people say no. It teaches them about basic knowledge about life. It is perfectly fine for both genders, 9 and up!

Good Game
This game is a very good game and the rating is very over rated. I have two kids a 13 and 15 year old they both love playing this game it has lots of gore on the campaign but is very reduced in multiplayer there is also a option to stop all blood and gore. I THINK THIS GAME IT FOR 13 UP.

This Game Is Fun With Hours Of Enjoyment!
Black ops 3 is a very futuristic game.Me and my two sons have both played this game with some friends and family and it is a great game. meeting new people online and ranking up are both really exciting , with the all new specialist mode. The players can try out new people in all of the multiplayer modes. That exercising Team-Building. But this game does have mild violence and swearing, but most of the fights are with robots so that tunes the gore down. But the type of things that our kids are exposed to today its nothing that they do see or hear about today. this game can also help with some of the problems that your child by then trying to rank up and meeting new people it completely takes their mind off their hardships. Overall this game is a great and safe games for your child to play!

The Truth!
Alright, these games are getting to be way overrated, the violence in this game are about a PG-13 Action Movie, Most parents don't allow their kids to play these games cause "your killing people" well even in Minecraft you kill people, it's just part of the game, your not just killing people for no reason your fighting for what's right and a mission plus your kid will really enjoy the game, if you are worried about the M rating for blood and stuff, at the beggining after the game downloads when you first open it, it will ask if you want to turn graphic content off, just turn it off and there's no blood in any of the game modes even zombies (don't play the zombies Campain cause it's a bit sexual at the beggining) but other than that everything in the game is fine and if your kid isn't changing their behavior for the game let them have some fun while their young :)

Fine for ages 10+
This game is part of the Call of duty franchise. So it is technically directed towards adults but that doesn't mean it's innapropriate for kids. I am a pretty strict dad when it comes to gaming. I wouldn't let my son play a M rated game until he's 15,my son came complaining to me that all of his friends play Call of duty and he felt left out. I came across the graphic content filter on the options menu. It removed all blood, gore, bad language, and the torture cutscene, online and campaign! The violence is hugely toned down from the other games. Even without the filter on I would let him play it at 13, the blood spatters are small and are gone with the filter. My son will do his homework and studying and will then play Call of duty, but I don't fell regretful about it at all. Get your son this game and by the way, a fun fact, more than 65% of the Call of Duty players are under the age of 12!

Best Call of Duty game yet!
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a very well made game. It is exciting, interesting, fun, and has a great story line.
My oldest son plays this game, and he absolutely loves it, although I did have to look at reviews before allowing him to play the game at home. I am not a fan of violence in movies, games, etc because it mostly shows the worst in people with no positive messages whatsoever. But Call of Duty Black Ops III is different.
Although the previous Call of Duty games had nothing very interesting, positive, and good role models, this one has lots of positive messages and role models. The game is based in 2065, and instead of killing a lot of humans, I'd say about 80% of the game is killing robots, and non-human enemies including zombies. This game is very violent, but has futuristic weapons, and unrealistic. There isn't any gore (besides zombie mode) and some blood in campaign and multiplayer.
I care about my kids, kids in general because I'm a teacher, and I want my kids to play age appropriate video games. Although this game is 17+, I think it would be okay for teenagers ages 15 and up.

You can filter content! Don't listen to CSM!
In the pause menus you can turn of swearing, blood, and gore. For those parents who don't like human on human violence, first you are the good guys from the military. Second, in multiplayer it is so fast-paced that you can't even tell what you are shooting at. This would be easily T rated with the content filter on. All cuss words gone. All blood and gore gone. Those parents who don't let there kids play M games, Call of Duty Black ops 3 is fine. You can watch them play it and if they can't handle it just take it away. Trust me, it's fine for 11+. There is also NO sex at all. CoD BO3 is on for ages 11+. Happy Gaming!

Like a PG13 movie
I know ESRB's video game rating scale is supposed to be similar to the movie rating system, but seriously they rate every game with a speck of blood or violence M. In no way is BO3 worse than your average PG13 movie. You can even turn off blood, gore, language, and other graphic content. Campaign is short and mediocre but has great cinematics, zombies is fun, and multiplayer is fantastic. Slower paced than AW but fast enough to be fun. Overall 8/10.

Very Entertaining
There is a lot of violence. And some gore. What people are neglecting to say is that there is an option to disable blood, gore, and swearing. There will always be violence. I won't tell you what to think about this game, it is your choice if you think it is appropriate.

BO3 IS SOOOOOO GOOD
BO3 is a very fun, and amazing game. But BO3 engages players into the strong themes of BO3 . some of these themes are brainwashing and terrorism. The campaign mode got even more violent and gory. Such as brutal torture scenes, and arm decapitations and other brutal images. The multiplayer is tons of fun but has loads of violence. The violence contains exploding players with the sparrow class. or the Ruin class with sharp balls decapitating everything in sight. In zombies it got more realistic but the violence is the same. the language in BO3 is strong. There is one sexual theme but its like a Rated T theme. Also, There is drug references. The game is amazing the controls are smooth, the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is terrific

So very good for playing zombies
So i playing it at all times, so i play it on steam and ps4. I think so steam is better than ps4 because i can play it as custom map, it's more fun than original. So i trying to beat SOE's EE with my friend.

Everytime I go somewhere, whenever I go to the video game isle, there is always a argument about which game this child should get. Look, I played mortal kombat as a child and I still play it now. I'm totally fine, i'm not ripping heads or anything. I played this game too, I gave it to my only son, he loved it. All you have to do is turn on the graphic filter and you're all set. The true reveiw
As parents our main concern is our kids. We want them to be safe. This doesn't just mean physically but mentally and that means we want them to be safe from violence. Many parents look at call of duty as a game that will change your kids mind, make them kill. Let's be honest with ourselves shooting a gun in a video game is not going force your kids to go and kill or play with guns. The best thing you can do for your kids is educate them, teach them what is right or wrong. If your kids know that using a bad words like the f word is wrong then your fine. Cursing is probably the worst thing in the game. In jurassic world someone has an arm severed and that looks real versus call of duty black ops 3 with a pixelated arm severed. This game is not as bad as everyone says. The only reason to not let your kid play this game provided they are 13 or 14 is because its a shooter which means that you shoot a gun. The shooter genre is not bad almost every game nowadays has influence from this. violence is not very bad. This game is an ok game for teens.
